today i went to a poetry sla,m. My assignment for english was to be 'a spy'- to go someplace i have never been before, notice the people, the atmosphere, everything. It was wonderful

Today the play was great, critie, me, googs, t, and lauren laughed hard (well. ..cristie and googs laughed the hardest...lol)
It was great to see you two yesterday and today

so like a loser i took my planner out tonight to plan out stuff like all my games, ap tests, when prom tickets go o sale, mock elections, senior song, and then all of a sudden it was over. bam- no more school, and then i remembered that I picked up my graduation announcements today and I thought- shit- this i am old, and i thought about the last four years of soccer- the memories, and the thoughts flew through me and i smiled, but it was full of fear. What will next year be like?

i got home today and my parents were at a party. they call me and i'm doing homework "yes, i loveyou, caome home, k bye..." my dad comes home on CRUTCHES!!!! he was putting cristmas lights up, fell off the roof, and broke his food and ankle :( he might have to have surgury...booo

maid in manhattan today, i was there last week! school was stressful, and i think in scotts words i should 'cool out' but then i am like...rachael, go take a break and watch tv, but i just keep on doing homework. . .whats wrong with me? It is almost time to visit the windy city, oh so excited.
If there is one thing i hate in this world it is packing. i get so excited for chicago and then i remember that i have to pack. and even though it is only over night, i will inevitably end up bringing enough cloths for an entire week, and complaining about carrying them around all sunday and monday. No! i can't, i won't over pack. grrrr...packing is the devil (and no fun either)

*no soccer for 3 weeks
*ok, no 'physical activity" for 3 weeks
*need more sleep (8 hours recommended)
*need to do less extra curriculars..doc says i should pretty much go to school and go home.
* if i don't do this, i will be sick for the rest of my LIFE.....poopy
relax? what does that mean. I need to learn that things don't 'depend' on me, in the sense that if i don't do it will never happen. I am too impatient. If something doesn't get done by the person it was assigned to, i get angry and do it myself, and therefore think that i had to do it. But mayber if i stopped doing that and people realized that it won't get done by me, and they NEED to do it, then this cycle will not complete itself over and over again. i think i am crazy.

I always struggle when i start writing an entry...weird, hmmmmm??? CMU/WMU weekend was so much fun, i loved the trust i found in all my friends up there. Today i got a letter in the mail, and i hope you did too. please please please!! i miss you already, come home. I am changing. And you know how i know I am changing? Because I took a nap today. First i fell asleep in the bathtub and then in my bed. I never used to take naps. thats new. I'm kinda new. |
